• Constant improvement and responsibility is Melvin Alonso’s driving ethos. “We try to produce responsibly, to not pollute the environment, and to motivate people to switch to organic production.” This dedication shows in the coffee itself – this is a smooth, refined microlot that has been depulped in small batches, left to dry with the miel (sticky coffee mucilage) still on the parchment, before washing.

  Despite being fairly young, Melvin was immersed in coffee farming since his own family started the transition to organic coffee back in 1995. “My motivation has been my father” Melvin told us. “He has instilled in me to manage the soil through organic practices and produce with responsibility”.
